Real Stories. Real Results.

What people drinking pure hibiscus every day say it did for them, in their own words.

I love this tea. It's summer and I love this tea cold. I put a little bit of agave in it while hot, then refridgerate. I discovered hibiscus tea while researching drinks lo lower blood presure. It's to early to tell if it does. Meanwhile I'm enjoying this tea. Will be buying again.

This has been great! Great flavor and much healthier than the sugared sodas I had been drinking. Already placed a second order.

I love the taste of this tea! I don't have hypertension but I can see how this lowers BP through diuresis. I brewed mine and added sugar, fresh lemon juice, and ginger. The taste is amazing and the dark red color is beautiful! I thought the price was good for the number of tea bags inside.

Just started using this as a helper for kidney function. Taste is very good whether hot or cold and a beautiful, deep color. I do add Splenda and occasionally my favorite flavored tea when drinking hot, and it truly is great besides hopefully helping my function as I will find out next labs.

I purchased this specialty tea for my kidneys and it is supposed to really help this. The tea taste really good if you like unsweetened tea that’s fine, but I put a little bit of sugar in mine and it was just sweet enough along with the type of flower great quality and I look forward to having some more cups of tea .

What is in the cup, and why you should care

The science in one line each, then what it means for you at 9pm tonight.

The Red Is the Good Stuff

The Red Is the Good Stuff

Anthocyanins

The deep ruby colour comes from anthocyanins, the same plant pigments that colour berries. They make up about half of the antioxidant power in the cup. A cup that red is doing something a pale one is not.

The Whole Flower, Not the Dust

The Whole Flower, Not the Dust

Whole calyces

Every bag holds pieces of the actual flower, cut whole. Dust and fannings lose their colour and taste sitting in the pack. You get full strength in the first cup and the thirtieth.

Tested in 26 Trials

Tested in 26 Trials

1,797 people

Daily hibiscus has been tested in 26 clinical trials. On average, blood pressure came down by about seven points against a placebo. It is a cup with real research behind it, not a wellness rumour.

Nothing to Keep You Up

Nothing to Keep You Up

0 mg caffeine

Hibiscus has no caffeine at all, so your body has nothing to fight at night. You get the warm cup at 9pm and nothing waking you at 2am.

Tart Like a Berry, Sweet Like Nothing

Tart Like a Berry, Sweet Like Nothing

0 g sugar

The tartness is natural fruit acids, the same family as in cranberries. Zero sugar and zero calories, so it replaces the sugared drink instead of adding to it.

Why thousands are switching to hibiscus

The plant in every TERO bag, and what it does for the person drinking it.

Blood pressure, studied in 1,797 people

Across 26 clinical trials, a daily cup of hibiscus brought blood pressure down by about seven points compared with a placebo.

The ruby colour is anthocyanins

Anthocyanins give hibiscus its deep red, and they are about half of the antioxidant power in the cup. The colour is the proof.

More phenolics than green tea

Gram for gram, dried hibiscus measured about nine times the phenolic content of green tea. One of the richest herbal infusions you can brew.

LDL moved too

In the same pooled trials, LDL cholesterol came down modestly. Total cholesterol and triglycerides did not change, and we tell you that too.

Zero caffeine, zero sugar, zero calories

Nothing to keep you up and nothing to count. A ruby-red cup that replaces a sugared drink at 9pm without asking anything of you.

One ingredient, whole calyces

Hibiscus and roselle are the whole ingredient list: the same flower the trials used, cut whole, not dust or fannings.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions, answered properly

What is TERO?

TERO is hibiscus tea in bags: dried hibiscus and roselle calyces, the deep red part of the flower, and nothing else. One ingredient. It brews a ruby red cup that is tart and clean, closer to cranberry than to a herbal tea.

What does it taste like?

Tart, bright and clean, with a natural fruit sweetness underneath. It is not bitter and it does not taste medicinal. Lovely hot, and just as good poured over ice. Add a slice of orange, a little honey or a cinnamon stick if you like.

Does it have caffeine?

No. Hibiscus is naturally caffeine free, so TERO fits the evening as easily as the morning. Nothing to keep you up at 2am.

How do I make it?

One bag in a cup of hot water, around 90°C, for 3 to 5 minutes. Take the bag out and drink it hot, or let it cool and pour it over ice. Do not stew it for longer, that is what makes hibiscus bitter.

What are the results from the clinical trials?

Hibiscus is one of the better studied herbal teas. Pooling 26 randomised trials covering 1,797 adults, daily hibiscus lowered systolic readings by around 7 mmHg against placebo, and the effect showed up over weeks rather than days. Cholesterol moved only slightly. Every one of those trials was run on the hibiscus plant, not on TERO, so treat it as good reason to drink the stuff and not as a promise about you. TERO is a tea, not a medicine.

Is it safe to drink every day?

Hibiscus is a food that people have been drinking for centuries. If you take prescription medication, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a quick word with your doctor or pharmacist before adding any herbal tea to your routine.

How long does delivery take?

Enjoy free priority tracked shipping on every order. Your order is prepared within 1 to 2 business days of being placed, and it reaches you in 12 to 25 days. We ship direct from our production partner rather than paying for local warehousing, and that is exactly what keeps the price where it is. Tracking reaches you by email the moment it moves.

What if I do not like it?

Drink it daily for ninety days. If you are not glad you bought it, email us, send the pack back, and we refund you in full. That covers the taste as much as anything else.
